ABOUT US

ReadyDC is a preparedness campaign launched by the Executive Office of the Mayor in 2017. The District of Columbia’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) administers the program on behalf of Mayor Muriel Bowser. ReadyDC ensures the District is prepared to meet a variety of hazards including manmade and natural disasters. HSEMA takes this mission seriously and we are here to help residents and business owners become more prepared and more resilient.
