NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION THREAT INTELLIGENCE CONSORTIUM

The National Capital Region Threat Intelligence Consortium (NTIC) employs an all-crimes, all-hazards approach. We serve as the National Capital Region’s (NCR) primary fusion center, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The NTIC works in partnership with fusion centers in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, as well as the federal government, to conduct regional analysis and share information on terrorism, crime, and natural hazards.

The NTIC produces finished intelligence on a range of all-hazard threats. While our primary customers are public safety officials and key decision makers in the National Capital Region, we also have a dedicated unit that produces intelligence analysis for the public.

The NTIC encourages the public to report suspicious activity – that is, any observed behavior that could indicate a terrorism-related crime. To report immediate threats or emergencies, call 911.
